Launch & first recognition
Co-founders Sergiy Shcherbanenko and Anna Karmazina launch Costless in Kyiv as a supermarket price-comparison and shopping-list service. Ukrainian business and tech media — AIN.ua, Delo.ua, NV Podcasts and MC.today among them — cover the release, and by year-end Costless is named among Ukraine's top-15 startups by USAID's Competitive Economy of Ukraine program and the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

Startup Grind Global, Silicon Valley
Selected as one of 15 Ukrainian startups representing the country at Startup Grind Global 2020 in Silicon Valley — a delegation backed by USAID's Competitive Economy of Ukraine program, the Ministry of Digital Transformation and Startup Grind Kyiv.

Price tracking & receipts
Favourites, price-drop alerts and the AI receipt scanner go live. Costless grows from a weekly-promotions browser into a daily shopping companion used across Ukraine — more than 500,000 shopper receipts are processed over the 2019–2021 period.

Loyalty 51 & card wallet
Digital Loyalty 51 stamps and the discount-card wallet roll out globally — coffee shops, restaurants, barbershops and retail chains join the network.

A focused, hands-on team

Costless was founded in 2019 by Anna Karmazina and Sergiy Shcherbanenko in Kyiv. The company is run by its two co-founders and a core team of engineers, content managers, QA testers and a product designer — lean enough that partnership conversations happen directly with the people who build and ship the product.

Sergiy co-founded Costless in 2019 and serves as Co-CEO and CTO, leading engineering, product, content and retailer partnerships. Over the past three years he has driven the end-to-end rebuild of the platform — from the price-intelligence backend to the shopper-facing web and mobile apps — and is the person most shopper feedback, support requests and partnership conversations ultimately land with.
